Working With LINE-X Since 2006
Based in Riga, Latvia, ZRZ combines more than 20 years of hands-on LINE-X application with Master Distribution, technical training and support for manufacturers and professional applicators across Europe.
It Started With Application
ZRZ began working with LINE-X in 2006, applying protective coatings in Latvia while also holding Master Distribution responsibility for the Baltic states. From the beginning, practical application and distribution developed alongside each other.
Working directly on products and components meant learning what happens between selecting a coating and producing a finished part. Surface preparation, masking, equipment and spraying were part of the everyday work, and remain so today. As the distribution business grew, that connection to application stayed at its centre.
We never stopped being applicators.
Experience Across Applications
Over more than two decades, our work with LINE-X has covered a broad range of industries and application environments: automotive, industrial manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, defence, design and specialized applications.
That breadth matters because each application brings a different combination of substrate, geometry, preparation, masking and service conditions. A coating system and application approach must fit the actual product and its requirements. The experience accumulated across those different jobs now informs how we evaluate new applications with manufacturers and distribution customers.
From Applicator to Technical Partner
Our technical role grew from the work itself. Supporting another applicator meant more than supplying coating material: it meant understanding the product, helping establish an application approach and making the equipment work in practice.
Over time, that work developed into equipment supply and commissioning, operator training, troubleshooting and ongoing technical support. These capabilities remain connected to the same practical questions we encounter in our own application work.
Today, we support manufacturers and professional applicators across Europe from Riga. Our supply and support experience also extends to wider neighbouring and international markets.
Practical Knowledge, Not Only Product Knowledge
A technical data sheet is an essential starting point. Turning a specified coating into a finished surface also depends on the condition of the substrate, preparation and masking, equipment setup, material condition and the application environment.
Spraying technique, thickness and process control, workflow and maintenance all affect how the work is carried out. Because we still operate an active application business, our recommendations are informed by current experience with these practical details. We use multiple plural-component spray systems across coating and related application work.
Our advice combines product knowledge with practical application experience. It complements manufacturer documentation, TDS and SDS requirements, and any engineering, testing or certification needed for the application.

Oļegs Malorodovs
Technical Manager & LINE-X Trainer
Oļegs joined ZRZ in June 2010 as a LINE-X applicator. His first years were spent on the workshop floor, preparing surfaces, masking components, spraying coatings and working with the equipment used in everyday production.
As ZRZ’s distribution activity expanded, his work gradually extended to commissioning customer equipment, diagnosing technical problems and helping operators establish their own coating processes. This progression led into operator training, where he developed the practical LINE-X training programme and methods used when setting up new applicators.
Today, his role brings together application knowledge, equipment experience, operator training and technical support for customer coating operations. That continuity matters: the person helping a customer understand a preparation problem, a spray setup or a maintenance task has also worked through those tasks as an applicator.
Application, Distribution and Support From Riga
Our Riga operation brings application work, development, stock and customer support together. Everyday coating work keeps our experience current, while physical samples, prototype components and application or preparation trials help us explore new requirements. Where appropriate, this work also includes colour and texture development, equipment demonstrations and small production batches.
ZRZ SIA is a Master Distributor for LINE-X, PAXCON and Ultimate Linings within the IXS Coatings portfolio. LINE-X remains central to our work, supported by complementary systems for different application requirements.
We stock the core coating systems presented on this website, together with primers, pigments, application consumables and commonly required Graco consumables, spare parts and service parts. Additional and specialized formulations are available by order.
Established logistics partners help us move stocked materials to customers quickly. For established customers, stocked orders received early in the working day can often be dispatched the same day, depending on order and account status. Dispatch timing is confirmed for each order.
